How do I scan my ID to verify my account when making a withdrawal?

The New Hampshire Lottery allows you to scan your ID for faster account verification when making your first withdrawal. This security feature makes verification quicker and easier for you! A scan of your ID will only be kept while your identity is being verified. Once completed, your data is removed. 

Select the type of device you're using below for the proper guide:

Mobile Phone

Step 1

After you begin a withdrawal, if you are asked to verify your identity under Account Ownership Verification, click “Start Automated Verification Process.” 


Step 2

The next screen will confirm you’ve chosen Account Ownership Verification. Click “CONTINUE” to begin. 


Step 3

Click “CONTINUE” to be prompted to allow camera access. To use the automated process, you must enable camera access so your ID can be scanned. When the prompt pops up on your device, click “Allow.”

Step 4

Place the front of your government issued ID into the provided area. Once that is accepted you will be asked to place the back of your government issued ID into the area provided.


Step 5

Confirm that you are happy with the photos that were taken by clicking “CONTINUE.”

Note: If you do not think some of the information on your ID is clear enough, click “RETAKE” under the photo to rescan that side of your ID.

 


Step 6

Your information will be confirmed, your ID scanned, and then you will see the confirmation screen. Your information will be reviewed. 

  


Step 7

Your withdrawal request will be processed. You can check back any time to see where your withdrawal is in the process. 

Note: Different withdrawal methods have different processing times. 


Desktop

Step 1

After you begin a withdrawal, if you are asked to verify your identity under Account Ownership Verification, click “Start Automated Verification Process.”


Step 2

This process is fast and easy with any smart phone! If you wish to use your mobile phone, use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code and then click here to jump to the mobile instructions to finish your authentication, or continue on your desktop by clicking “CONTINUE ON DESKTOP.”

Step 3

Click “CONTINUE” to be prompted to allow camera access. To use the automated process, you must enable camera access so your ID can be scanned. When the prompt pops up on your device, click “Allow.”

Note: You must have a camera connected to your desktop computer in order to scan your ID. If you do not have a camera attached you must use the mobile version or manually upload your documents.


Step 4

You will need your government issued ID or driver’s license ready. When you have them, click “CONTINUE.”


Step 5

Place the front of your government issued ID into the provided area. Once that is accepted you will be asked to place the back of your government issued ID into the area provided.

Confirm that you are happy with the photos that were taken by clicking “CONTINUE.”
